Hi. You have to enable the new "Narcissus" theme in the Disqus settings to get realtime to work. And you don't have to upload any blank.html file. I have never done that anyways.

Great information you got there about Disqus commenting. I am haveing no difficulty in blog commenting when I use Disqus because it just suits me. I have already let Disqus commenting handle one of my blog website.
